Work with the yarn of your choice. Try it on as you go. The number of rounds may vary depending on the size of your cosy. My mug is narrower at the bottom and wider at the top. If you use a straight mug, you do not need to make increases after Rnd 9.

Muzzle
Work with white colour yarn.

Heart
Work with red colour yarn.

Do not turn! Work 6 sl st from A to B.
Cut off yarn, fasten off.
Sew the applique onto the right side from the button. Attach the ears, leave a gap of 8 stitches between the ears, sew them on.
Attach and sew on the muzzle, arm and heart.
Embroider the nose with the blue colour thread. Embroider the muzzle, patches on the head and arm with black colour thread. Embroider the flares on the eyes with white colour thread.
