This Patterns are the Patches Nr 8 – 15 for the patchwork blanket. Work them in different Colors as many patches as you like, I have all of them on my blog here. You can then sew them together which is explained at the end of this Blog.

Material each patch: 5mm needles, Aran cotton yarn approx. 15gr
Yarn Gauge: 16 st x 20 rows
size approx.: 15 x 15 cm
even rows are front rows, uneven rows are the back rows
k= knit
p= purl
Sl1p= spp 1 stitch purl wise
k2tog= knit 2 stitches together
yo= 1 yarn over
skp= spp 1 knit 1 and pass slipped stitch over
sk2p= spp 1 knit 2 together and pas sipped stitch over

Cast off

Work as many squares as you want for your blanket, (I would recommend a min of 30 squares) lay down the squares the way you want them sewn together. Sew together: for that lay both good sides on each other and sew through only the back loops to get a hidden join

Additionally, you could add a Crochet Border:

With 1 SC in each stitch and 2 SC 2 CH 2 SC in edges.

2. Row is a mussel stitch around the Blanket, start with 10 DC in the edge, ***2 CH and jump over 2 stitches, 1 SC, jump over 2 stitches and 5 DC*** repeat till next edge and work 10 DC in the edge.

Sew in all threads and finish the Blanket.
