SUPPLIES
cotton yarn (e.g. Schachenmayr Catania 125m/50g) in three colors: yellow, orange and brown, a bit of white yarn for the muzzle, crochet hook 2,5 mm, scissors, yarn needle.

Seamless way of changing color when working in the round
Pick up the new color at the end of the round: inset your hook into the stitch, yarn over the new color and pull through the stitch and the loop on your hook to complete the stitch.
INSTRUCTIONS
SOLE
Work with yellow color yarn.
Round 1: Starting at center of the sole with chain of 16 stitches.
Round 2: single crochet into the 2nd chain from hook and into each of next 13 stitches, 3 single crochets in the next stitch, then, working in the other side of foundation chain, single crochet in each of next 13 stitches, 2 single crochets in each of next 2 stitches.
I don´t join rounds with the help of slip stitch but crochet in a circle.
Round 3: single crochet in each of next 13 stitches, 2 single crochets in each of next 3 stitches, single crochet in each of next 13 stitches, 2 single crochets in each of next 3 stitches.
Round 4: single crochet in each of next 8 stitches, half double crochet in each of next 3 stitches, double crochet in each of next 3 stitches, 2 double crochets in each of next 6 stitches, double crochet in each of next 3 stitches, half double crochet in each of next 3 stitches, single crochet in each of next 7 stitches, 2 single crochets in the next stitch, single crochet in next stitch, 2 single crochets in next stitch twice, single crochet in next stitch, 2 single crochets in next stitch.

BOOTIE
FPSC (front post single crochet)
1. Insert your hook from front to back between the posts of the first and second single crochet of the row below, and then from back to front again between the posts of the second and third stitches.
The hook should now be positioned horizontally behind the single crochet that you’re working around.
2.Draw the yarn around the post of the stitch and pull up a loop. Yarn over again and finish the single crochet.
One front post single crochet is complete.
Rounds 1-2: chain 3 stitches, double crochet in each of next 60 stitches around, slip stitch into the top of chain 3.
Round 3: chain 1 stitch, single crochet in each of next 15 stitches, *dc2tog* 12 times, single crochet in each of next 21 stitches.

Rounds 6-7: chain 1 stitch, single crochet in each of next 31 stitches, chain 3 stitches, turn the work.
Around the sides of booties crochet with single crochet´s. Cut the yarn. Around the sole crochet with slip stitches or crab stitch (reverse single crochet).
HORN (2x)
Start with brown color yarn and begin with a magic ring.
Round 1: 6 single crochets into Magic Ring
Round 2: increase 6 times (12 stitches)
Rounds 3-4: single crochet in each of next 12 stitches
Round 5: *decrease, single crochet in the next stitch* (9 stitches)
Change yarn color to yellow
Round 6-8: single crochet in each of next 9 stitches
Stuff the horn slightly.
Bind off leaving a long tail for sewing. Work the second horn the same way.
EAR (2x)
Work with yellow color yarn.
Row 1: chain 11 stitches.
Row 2: double crochet in the fourth stitch from the hook, 1 double crochet in each of next 6 stitches, working on the other side of foundation chain: 6 double crochets in the next stitch, double crochet in each of next 7 stitches.
Bind off leaving a long tail for sewing. Work the second ear the same way.
MUZZLE
Crochet using white color yarn.
Round 1: chain 13 stitches.
Round 2: double crochet in the fourth stitch from the hook, 1 double crochet in each of next 8 stitches, working on the other side of foundation chain: 6 double crochets in the next stitch, double crochet in each of next 8 stitches, 5 double crochet in the next stitch.
NOSTRIL (4x)
Crochet using brown or orange color yarn.
Round 1: 6 single crochets into Magic Ring. Bind off leaving a long tail for sewing.
ASSEMBLY
Sew horns to the bootie. Be sure to step back and take a look to make sure horns are even.
Ears are attached to the bootie now. Thread a needle on one of the yarn tails left from the ears, fold the bottom of the ear toward center and sew it to the other side. Place the ears in their right place. Using the yarn left sew them to the bootie. Be sure to step back and take a look to make sure ears and horns are even.
Sew nostrils to the muzzle. Mark where you want the nostrils to be placed with pins and sew them with the distance of 6 stitches to the muzzle.
Sew muzzle to its right place. Weave in all ends.
You can add eyes if desired. Ready!
