Free crochet pattern  keychain snowball house

With the help of this pattern you can crochet a snowball house. Depending on the yarn thickness, they become smaller or larger.

Please read the instructions first.

The snowball houses was crocheted with a thick plush yarn, its size is 5.5x5.5 cm.

Materials:

Crochet hook 2,5 mm and 1,5 mm

Leftover wool. I used the following wool for 1 ball:

Plush yarn white 160m/ 50g (Katia velvet) -  7 g

Yarn 160m/ 50g (z.B. Yarn Art Jeans) –  7g different colors (apple green, purple, yellow, brown, blue, red, black)

Fillet yarn  100g /566m for windows and doors approx. 2g

sewing needle, scissors, filling

Glitter yarn 25g /265m (Lame yarns) gold, silver, red

Abbreviations:

st- stitch

sc-single crochet

sl st- slip stitch

ch- chain

FO- fasten off

inc. - increase

dec.- decrease, 2 sc worked off together

rsc- reverse single crochet

pc- chain 3, 1sl st in first ch

Snowball

Top hat

Crochet hook 2,5 mm, yarn 160m/ 50g (z.B. Yarn Art Jeans) –  7g

Work 6 sc in magic ring, sl st into the first stitch to join the round.

5. Crochet 1 sc in each stitch, inserting the needle into the back loop.

15. Crochet the edge with crab stitches.

Fasten the thread, cut it and hide it.

Embroider snowflakes using the sewing needle and glitter wool.

Door

Fillet yarn, Crochet hook 1,5 mm

1.ch 8, in 2nd ch  from Hook work 1 sc, 6 sc (7), turn

2-4. 7sc, turn

Cut the thread and hide it.

Use the sewing needle to sew on the door handle and door hinges.

Window

Fillet yarn, Crochet hook 1,25 mm, glitter yarn 25g /265m (Lame yarns) gold, silver, red

Work 6 sc in magic ring, sl st into the first stitch to join the round.

Glitter yarn

2. (1 sc, inc.) x6 (18)

Cut the thread and hide it.

Sew the door and window in the middle between rounds 6 and 12.

Sew on the door handle and door hinges with glitter wool.

It's best to fasten and hide all threads at the top as the hat will cover this area.

Stuff the top hat and sew it on.

Christmas tree house

Crochet hook 2,5 mm, yarn 160m/ 50g (z.B. Yarn Art Jeans) – 7g

1.ch 90, in 2nd ch  from Hook work 1 sc, 88 sc (89), turn

2. work (ch3,1 dc,pc,2dc) in first st, * skip 1 st, 1 sc in next st, skip1 st, (2dc, 1pc, 2dc) in next st*

Repeat from* to* until the end of the row

Shape the Christmas tree and attach it at the same time. You start between rounds 5 and 6 and go up round by round. Tip: Sew on the window and door first.

Sew part 1 and part 2 together, leaving the first 2 rows free.

Take double glitter wool and crochet around the roof.

Sweets No. 1

Fillet yarn, Crochet hook 1,5mm

Work 6 sc in magic ring, sl st into the first stitch to join the round.

Sweets No 2

Fillet yarn, Crochet hook 1,5mm

Red and white x1

1.ch 15, in 2nd ch  from Hook work 1 sc, 13 sc (12), turn

Place both parts together, roll and sew together.

Repeat the same again with green and white colors.

Place sweets on the left and right of the roof and sew them on.

Door

Part 1

2-4. ch1, 4sc, turn

Fasten the thread, cut it and hide it. Sew row 1 together with row 2.

Part 2

1.ch 6, in 2nd ch  from Hook work 1 sc, 4sc (5), turn

2-4. ch1, 5sc, turn

Fasten the thread, cut it and hide it. Sew row 1 together with row 2.

Sew part 1 to part 2 in the middle.

Attach antlers to the left and right of the hat. Attach the tip of the hat to the last row.

Door

Fillet yarn, Crochet hook 1,5 mm

1.ch 8, in 2nd ch  from Hook work 1 sc, 6 sc (7), turn

2-4. 7sc, turn

Cut the thread and hide it.

Use the sewing needle to sew on the door handle and door hinges.

Window

Fillet yarn, Crochet hook 1,25 mm, glitter yarn 25g /265m (Lame yarns) gold, silver, red
