Important information’s for the pattern:
The table decoration is worked using the tapestry crochet technique, and it is assumed that you know how to work colour changes and carry the unused colours along.
Each row begins with 1 chain stitch, which does not count as a stitch. Every row always consists of 56 stitches. The odd-numbered rows are the front rows, and the even-numbered rows are the back rows.

At the end, you can optionally add fringes to give your Christmas table decoration an extra decorative touch. Choose a suitable colour and cut 56 strands each for the top and bottom edges, with each strand approximately 10 cm long.
Attach the fringes by knotting one strand to each stitch. To do this, fold the strand in half, pull the loop through the stitch, and then pull the two loose ends through the loop to secure it. Repeat this process until all the stitches along the top and bottom edges are adorned with fringes.
Finally, carefully trim the fringes to a uniform length so they look neat and symmetrical. This finishing detail gives your piece a polished and stylish appearance!
