Perfect Curve Shawl with Pockets
~Medium-Large Version~
Comfy shawl with pockets and a gentle curve around neck & shoulders to prevent bunching at hairline & naturally wrapping around shoulders.
This Pattern is a larger version of the original “Perfect Curve Shawl with Pockets” petite/curvy size. This means that it's a bit wider, it has a longer length (wingspan) and bit roomier pocket.
This shawl is hand-crocheted with a curvy figure in mind, but can be worn comfortably by other frames as well. The pattern has a curve to it to help the garment naturally flow around the shoulders without the bunching of fabric at the back of the neck. This is especially nice for curvy gals and for those with shorter necks, which often goes hand in hand. Let's not leave out how much nicer it is for those of us with heavy & longer hair that hate all that material bunched up behind our heads to drape our locks over.
The rows of Bullion Block stitches & the Bullion fringe on the ends are beautiful accents that raise this shawl above the bar. The width is wide enough to cover the shoulders and upper arms, but not too wide to not be able to throw it around your neck like a regular scarf.
This pattern is an intermediate/advanced design with loads of details, so this is not your typical simple shawl with pockets, but still doable for beginners looking for a challenge.
The PDF formatted pattern has detailed, easy-to-read instructions with plenty of photos to help visually as well as extensive glossary to help with stitches or stitch combos.
There are many notes in red with tips & reminders to help you on the tricky parts.
