Crochet Pattern Blanket "Selene" - CAL with 7 parts

Take part in the CAL for the blanket "Selene" - a fantastically beautiful, rectangular blanket that is crocheted in 7 parts!

The CAL will take place in the Facebook group "Häkeln mit KleinesFeines und barbara-engler", the instructions will be published in 7 parts:

The individual parts will be uploaded each morning on the corresponding days here at Crazypatterns - to get the new version simply download the updated version of the instructions. The previous parts will remain available until the end of the CAL, so it is possible to join the CAL later. You can of course continue to download the pattern after the event has finished.

In the Facebook group you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with other crocheters, show your progress, and of course we are always available to help you!

The blanket shown in the photos has the following dimensions: 180 x 145 cm (6 parts). With the 7th part you can crochet your blanket even larger.

All information about the CAL and which materials are required is contained in a separate info file, which you can view after purchasing the instructions. The actual instructions will be uploaded on the days listed above.

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

The pattern is intended for slightly advanced crocheters who have mastered the following stitches and techniques:

• chain
• slip stitch
• double crochet
• half double crochet

• crochet several stitches around one stitch

The pattern contains:

• general information about the blanket
• detailed information on yarn consumption per desired size

Size Information

The blanket is crocheted in 7 parts, you can finish your blanket after any part or after the intermediate pattern of the next part.

The individual parts give blankets with following size (from part 5):

Part 1-5: 155 x 120 cm
Part 1-5 plus intermediate pattern: 160 x 125 cm
Part 1-6: 180 x 145 cm
Part 1-6 plus intermediate pattern: 185 x 150 cm
Part 1-7: 205 x 170 cm
Part 1-7 plus intermediate pattern: 210 x 175 cm

Materials List

The following tools are required:

• crochet hook in 3 sizes (e.g. 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 mm)
• scissors
• sewing needle to sew up the loose ends
• stitch marker

Wool used for the blanket in the picture:

• Manufacturer: Garninspirationen and more by Bianka (Facebook group)
• Amount: 7000 m + 1000 additional m (300 m in the same color for the center of the blanket)
• 4-thread wool (corresponds to sports or fingering yarn weight)
• Color: Aquarius
• 50% cotton, 50% polyacrylic

The following quantities are required for the individual parts (from part 5):

Part 1-5: 5,600 m
Part 1-5 plus intermediate pattern: 6,300 m
Part 1-6: 8,100 m
Part 1-6 plus intermediate samples: 9,000 m
Part 1-7: 11,100 m
Part 1-7 plus intermediate pattern: 12,100 m
