A colourful round blanket. 3 variations are described in this pattern.
The 1. variation is a blanket for your sofa. Here are many leftovers used. The result will be a surprise.
The 2. variation is a baby blanket made of sock yarn / fingering yarn.
The 3. variation can be used as dishcloth or washcloth.
I am sure you will have ideas for additional variations. It is not always necessary to weave the ends.
Knitted and purled stitches, knit one back, to increase and decrease stitches and yarnovers.
The pattern is described on 6 pages, incl. many pictures.
Variation 1 (blanket): 1.75 m; 69’’
Variation 2 (baby blanket): 80 cm; 32’’
Variation 3 (dishcloth/washcloth.): 32 cm; 13’’
Variation 1: 6.0 mm (US10) double pointed needles, 6.0 mm circular knitting needle(s), 5 stitch markers, approx. 1400 g sock yarn / fingering yarn leftovers.
Variation 2: 3.5 mm (US4) double pointed needles, 3.5 mm circular knitting needle(s), 5 stitch markers, approx. 250 g sock yarn / fingering yarn (Järbo Tencel Raggi 266 m/100 g was used)
Variation 3: 3.0 mm (US2.5) double pointed needles; 3.0 mm circular knitting needle, 5 stitch markers, approx. 50 g cotton yarn (Järbo Nova EKO 170 m/50 g was used)
Hair ties, when more than one circular needle will be used.
I recommend for Variation 1 at least 3 needles with 1 m (40’’) – 1.5 m (60’’) cords.
For Variation 2 is a needle with 1.5 m (60’’) cord sufficient and for Variation 3 0.8 m (32’’).
To bind off you can use for every variation an one size thicker needle.
