Surf Dolls Boy and Girl Crochet Pattern Amigurumi Surfboards Bikini Shorts

Time to dress up, grab some surfboards and go to the beach!

This PDF pattern (US terminology) will guide you to crochet a lovely set of surf dolls in amigurumi style, as shown in pictures, made using sport weight cotton yarn and crochet hook C (2.5 mm).
The dolls are worked from the bottom up; feet, legs, body, arms and head in 1 part. Only a few pieces need to be sewn in place afterwards. Instructions for the shorts, bikini and surfboards are included.

The dolls’ finished size will be approx. 9.5” (24 cm) tall. If you wish to make a larger or smaller version of these dolls, you can just use thicker or thinner yarn with a matching size crochet hook.
If so, you will need different amounts of yarn, different sizes of safety eyes and plastic canvas than stated in the materials list. The surfboards will be approx. 6.5” (16,5 cm) tall.
Parts in this pattern will be worked in continuous rounds, as well as in rows.

This pattern is also suitable for wool or acrylic yarn. Cotton yarn by SMC Catania was used to create the dolls and the surfboards in the pictures.

Gauge: Is not important for this pattern; just work tight enough so your stuffing will not show through.
