A basic knowledge of crochet is required to make the dolls. They are made with the single crochet stitch (UK: double crochet). Only the flower is made by using chain and double crochet stitch (UK: treble crochet).

Size Information

The size of the doll depends on the size of the crochet hook, thickness of yarn and how you stuff them; bigger hook and thicker yarn make a bigger doll. A doll stuffed tightly is bigger than a loosely stuffed doll.

Little Girl: 2.6 inches/ 6.5 cm high (sitting position).
Mother: 4.6 inches/ 11.5 cm high (sitting position).
Bean Bag: diameter = 5.6 inches/14 cm, height = 2.2 inches/ 5.5 cm.

2. DMC Pearl Cotton Thread Size 3 (115/3): Color Red 321 to embroider mouth;
3. 3.25 mm hook (US: D/3.25, UK: 10);
4. 1 pair of 6 mm safety eyes;
5. 1 pair of 4.5 mm safety eyes;
6. 10 mm heart button;
7. 24 of 4 mm white beads for decorating the mother’s hair;
8. Polyester fibre-fill = 20 g;
9. Tapestry needle;
10. Sewing needle and thread for attaching button and beads;
