"Campion" is a knitting pattern for a little drawstring bag made out of sock yarn. It is perfect for using some of your leftover yarns, sock yarn scraps or any other colorful yarns that you want to get rid of. This is an easy pattern, although not a beginner pattern. You should be familiar with working in the round. Use the finished bag as a small gift pouch, dice bag or coin purse. Whatever you decide, these bags are fun to make and quickly done. Be careful, they can be addictive!
There are two samples shown in the pictures. Both of them are made out of rather unknown "no name" sock yarns. Any fingering weight yarn will work for the pattern. It will also work in other yarn weights, but this will have influence on the size of the bag.
The pattern has been tested by several people to make sure that the instructions work as written. They do! It is a written pattern. Instructions on how to make your own ribbon are included.
If you purchase the pattern, start knitting and (which I don't hope) get to a point where you don't know how to go on, my contact info is in the pattern. I am always happy to help. Please bear in mind that I sometimes need to sleep and don't spend all day on the internet. But I check my mails every day.
Please read below for more pattern details.
