The shrug "Bridges" is perfect for many different occasions:
• To jazz up a T-Shirt or a top in summer
• Over a longsleeve in winter
• as jacket over a dress in the evening hours
-...
The pattern is inspired by my shawl "Dream about Summer".
In this pattern (PDF, 13 pages) I explain step by step and with many pictures how to crochet this shrug. You also get the crochet chart for the pattern!
You should know the following things (US terms): chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, slip stitch
It can be made in every size, no matter if for children or adults.
♦ your favorite yarn and a matching crochet hook. I used:
• For the adult shrug:
Ca. 750 m (820 yd) gradient yarn, 4 ply, from “little favorites by Rea” and a 4 mm hook
• For the child shrug:
100 % acrylic yarn, yardage: 185 m (=202 yd) per 50g, about 700 m (=765 yd) (I used
“Schachenmayr Baby smiles 185”) and a 3,25 mm hook
♦ Sewing needle for weaving in ends
You maybe need more or less yarn, depending on the size you want to make.
You only buy the pattern, not the finished scarf!
Have fun! :)
