Zigzag Scarf knitting pattern "Return of the Bat"

A garter stitch scarf worked in aran weight yarn. It is fun and easy to knit, honestly.

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

Difficulty level: easy (garter stitch, simple increases and decreases)

• k: knit
• m1: make 1: insert left hand needle from front to back under the strand of yarn after the stitch just worked and knit this new stitch through the back loop
• k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
• tbl: through back loop

Gauge: 20 stitches/34 rows in garter stitch = 10cm/4in.

Size Information

10–15cm (4–6in) wide – there are narrower and wider parts.

Materials List

Yarn: ONline Linie 130 Champ (100% merino; 70m/50g; 77yds/1.76oz), 4-5 balls. Sample in a length of 140cm (56in) used 265m (290yds).

Needles: 5mm/US 8
