MATERIALS AND TOOLS
✓ Main yarn – I used approximately 25 g of pink “Andre Classic” by Alpina (60% acrylic, 35% rayon, 5% spandex) that has 530 m in a 100g skein.
Tip: You can use any moderately fluffy yarn (wool, acrylic, etc). The thicker the yarn, the bigger your toy will be. See the Gauge section.
✓ Small amount of white smooth yarn for the whites of the eyes – I used 400 cm/157.5 inches. It should be slightly thinner than your main yarn (800-900m in a 100g skein). See gauge section.
Tip: If you need exactly the same yarn visit this shop
✓ Matching crochet hook. I used 1.75 mm crochet hook for my main yarn and 1.25 mm for the yarn for the eyes.
✓ Two black beads – I used 4 mm in diameter.
✓ Single core copper PVC electrical wire – I used wire approximately 100 cm / 39.4 inches long 1.2 mm in diameter.
✓ Transparent glue, stuffing
✓ Adhesive fabric tape approximately 1 cm wide to wrap the wire ends.
✓ Any material for tinting (optional) – oil pastels, oil paints, pencils, etc.
✓ Strong thread for needle sculpting.
