FINISHED SIZE:
Approx. 22 cm/8.7 inches tall when seated if made using the materials stated in the pattern.
MATERIALS AND TOOLS
✓ Brown yarn for the main parts of the toy and dark brown yarn for the hooves and the antlers – I used yarn that has approximately 600 m in a 100g skein.
Tip: You can use any moderately fluffy yarn (wool, acrylic, etc). The thicker the yarn, the bigger your toy will be.
Tip: If you need exactly the same yarn ask in this shop
✓ Matching crochet hooks. I used 1.5 mm crochet hook for the main yarn.
✓ White polymer clay for the whites of the eyes.
✓ Two black beads or half beads for the pupils of the eyes – I used 3-4 mm in diameter.
Tip: You can use ready-made eyes 4-5 mm in diameter instead of polymer clay and beads.
✓ Single core copper PVC electrical wire (optional) – I used wire 1 mm in diameter.
✓ Stuffing.
✓ Adhesive fabric tape approximately 1 cm wide to wrap the wire ends.
✓ Strong thread for needle sculpting.
✓ Any material to add weight to the bottom, e.g. glass pebbles (optional).
✓ A knitted glove for the sweater (optional)
