Crochet Pattern: Basket 'Rustico'

You will receive a 7-page detailed description with step-by-step photos on how to make this beautiful rustic basket. It is variable in size, which means you can make it as big as you like. You can use your favorite yarn scraps from past needlework projects as materials, as the basket is multi-threaded. This gives each basket its own unique look.

It is stable and keeps its shape thanks to an integrated plastic washing line that runs invisibly in a spiral. It is very easy to crochet because we only crochet single crochet stitches all the way around. Anyone can do that. That's why this pattern is also very suitable for beginners.

Materials List

Material:

• 3 to 4 different yarns of your choice. I used: 100 g "Opal" 4-ply sock yarn (1 ball), color 7475, 150 g "Aventica" from Schachenmayr, color 82 (3 balls) and 250 g "Twister Sport 500", color 16 (1/2 ball)
• crochet hook size 6mm (UK4; US 10)
• Plastic washing line (approx. 20 m (~66 feet) long), transparent or matching your yarn colors
• darning needle, scissors, adhesive tape
