This granny square baby blanket is crocheted with 36 join-as-you-crochet squares that start in the center with a fabulous rose. The blanket is finished with a matching edging and completed with a round of small shell stitches.

Materials List

Materials: Yarn: The blanket shown in the photograph is crocheted in "Perfection DK" (a light worsted weight yarn) from Kraemer Yarns. You can use almost any light worsted weight yarn that will produce a 4" by 4" square. You will need a total of approximately 1600 yards to complete this project.
Tools: Boye crochet hooks, U.S. sizes G and H.
