This design is a variation on the ever popular cloche - a close fitting little hat with a down turned brim. Embellished with primroses and a bow, this wear-everywhere hat is sized for an average adult woman's head and is beautifully shaped for style, comfort and fit.

Materials List

Materials: Yarn: The model shown in the photograph is crocheted in an acrylic/nylon yarn that is no longer available. The design will work beautifully with approximately 200 yards of almost any worsted weight yarn. If contrasting primroses are desired, approximately 30 yards of worsted weight would be required.
Tools: Crochet hook, U.S. size I or any size that will produce a gauge of 4 sts and 3 rnds to one inch.
