This beautiful rectangular shawl is super easy to make and works up quickly too.
I named it Aikor Shawl.
Aikor means pine-tree in elvish which refers to the little motifs in the pattern, looking like cute pine-trees.
The pattern is quite easy for beginners as it’s using only a few basic stitches (single crochet, double crochet and treble crochet) to create this unique, lacy look.
THIS IS A WRITTEN PATTERN ONLY WITH NO CHART
Gauge/tension: Unimportant, as your garment will be blocked upon finishing to the size given but roughly 3 rows x 5.5 DC stitches = 1 inch/ 2.5 cm
REMEMBER that using a different yarn to that stated may also cause the tension/gauge and finished size to differ!
NOTE: Blocking is essential to enhance the lace patternwork of your shawl and to ensure that your edges are straight!
I hope you will love this pattern as much as I loved creating it!
Happy crocheting!
