This document describes crocheting a scarf with fringes, but you can also use the pattern for other projects such as blankets, table runners, pillowcases, bags, etc. if you adjust the corresponding repetitions.
The pattern comes with written instructions for one whole repeat and additionally a diagram as well.
Advanced beginners, knowledgement in mosaic technique is helpful but not necessary
Following stitches will be used: Chains, single crochet, double crochet, crochet in back loop/front loop only, crochet in rows.
Size depends on the yarn used, the number of stitches per row and the number of pattern repetitions. My scarf has a size of 190 cm x 28 cm (without fringes). If you use different yarn, then of course the amount of yarn will change. How to change the size is described.
Any yarn in two contrasting colors, hook in suitable size, scissors, two stitch marker (optionally a
darning needle).
I have crocheted the scarf using different Scheepjes whirls (1000m/220g) and whirlettes (455m/100g) and hook size 3.5. For my size of scarf the amount of yarn is: color A (violet) 1000 m , color B (gray): 750 m
