This is one of my knitted statement necklaces.

With this jewellery you make a fashion statement. A plain dress becomes an eye-catcher with it, a plain coat ennobles itself with it to a city look.

This tutorial will give you knitting pleasure all year round!

Use your favourite material. Rustic wool or summery yarn or elegant silk or glamorous lurex. The necklace can be worked in any length and is also perfect for working with beautiful yarn and wool leftovers. Embroidered with beads or knotted with fringes, it becomes an admired unique piece.

This necklace is incredibly versatile and its look goes from delicate and elegant to coarse and scratchy. Knitted with thick winter wool, it becomes a warming loop for chilly days.

The chain is easy to knit, you just need to know how to use double pointed needles.
The instructions consist of a chart and are written out stitch by stitch. So you can decide what you prefer to work with.

The length is arbitrary and can be matched exactly to the garment that the necklace is to embellish.

It can also be made into a double loop.

Any material can be used. All you need are suitable double pointed needles.
I used "Baby Soft Printed" from Ferner Wolle (50% cotton / 50% soj 100g = 270m) and needles 3mm and needed about 150m.
