Sparkling Purple
Blub the Purple Tang is named for its blue-purple color. Since it is found in the Red Sea, it is also called the Red Sea Tang.
The Purple Tang has sharp spines on the root of its tail. These are also called scalpel. This weapon is used by tangs to defend themselves or to attack. Tangs rarely attack, however, and only for good reason. So we don't need to be afraid of Blub the Purple Tang, because there is no reason to attack in our Amigurumi world. And besides, thanks to cotton yarn, the scalpel of our Blub is cuddly soft and not razor sharp.
Did you know that tangs are diurnal and search for food all day long. Because of their low energy content, they are forced to eat constantly. Isn't that cute?
