There is never a reason not to crochet a bucket hat. I made this one just for fun. I love working in camo. I picked up this yarn randomly with nothing in mind but realized I could easily make ANOTHER bucket hat pattern. One tip I will share when making bucket hats you should always look for a stiffer yarn as it makes the fit better and the brim will look nicer with a slight bend or straight out.
