You need color gradient yarn 3-fold oder 4-fold with minimum 750m.
Furthermore a crochet hook, that fits with your yarn and a needle and a scissor to weave the threads.
I recommend to use for this pattern a bigger crochet hook (half or one size bigger) than you usally would use, to become your shawl very light.
