Chaloma BE is a flat triangular scarf, which consists of many different patterns. In almost all sets of patterns are many Front Post double crochet and Back Post double crochet, for lovers of these stitches just right. It´s written in US terminology.
The instructions are written, contains a lot of pictures of the individual steps and a detailed crochet script. It is not quite suitable for beginners, the following stitches should already be mastered.
• magic ringc
• h = chain stitch
• dc = double crochet
• FPdc = Front Post double crochet
• BPdc = Back Post double crochet
• 5dc in 1 stitch or 3 dc in 1 stitch
• dc5tog = double crochet 5 together
• FPdctog = Front Post double crochet together
• BPdc2tog = Back Post double crochet 2 together
• 2/2 FPtr / BPtr cross = 2-over-2 Front Post/Back treble crochet cross
The manual contains the following parts:
• general info
• tools and material needed
• used stitches and abbreviations
• written description of each row
• crochet script created on the computer
With the specified wool and crochet hook, the scarf will be about 220 x 60 cm, but the edge can be crocheted as wide as you like.
I have used 1300 m. But because I crochet a little tighter, I would rather recommend 1500 m when crocheting a little looser. The FPdc and BPdc are also huge wool eaters and therefore the 1500 m.
