A toy can be made of different types of yarn, but it is important to choose the appropriate ratio of thickness of yarn and hook size.

Materials List

To crochet the Dog Basset Hound, you will need:

1. Yarn Alize Cotton Gold (330 meters/100 grams):

• №55 White - 0.5 skein
• №499 Caramel - 0.5 skein
• №493 Brown - 0.5 skein

2. Yarn YarnArt Jeans (160 meters/50 grams):

• № 36 Pink - a small amount for a hat
• № 07 Beige - a small amount for a hat

3. Plastic safety eyes 10 mm
4. Felt circles diameter 15 mm
5. Crochet hook 2 mm
6. Stuffing material (hollowfiber or polyfil)
7. Scissors & needle

For crocheting toys, I use YarnArt Jeans and Alize Cotton Gold yarn.
You can use any other yarn, but then choose an appropriate size of a crochet hook.
