Maxine's Wedding Cape
I designed this Wedding Cape for my own Wedding and wrote the pdf written crochet pattern of my own design.
it is a beautiful Cape which you can use for special occasions as for cold evenings allso.
Yuu are free to choose whatever wool you want to use, perfect would also be a high quaity mohair or alpaka wool.
the pattern and size is easy to adjust because you only have to ass or delete rows and stitches.
A gauge would be fundamental.
You will crochet in rows, means that you turn your work for each new row in the body of the cape.
For the border rows, you only crochet in the RS facing to you (in rounds or rows).
You begin with a foundation row of chains, then you will directly begin with the first pattern.
There are 4 different pattern for the cape:
2 pattern for the body of the cape. When you have finished the body, you will work the edging with a foundation row and then …
2 different pattern on the neck, sides and at the bottom hem of the cape.
You will get a pdf digital written crochet pattern as a download of about 21 pages.
Therein you will find all details in written text.
There are also 2 Charts of the main pattern of the body of the Cape and more than 15 photos as a Photo Tutorial.
