Vroooom vroooom! Here is a soft and woolly version of the most beloved car ever!

This PDF pattern describes in US terminology how to crochet a lovely classic beetle car as shown on pictures.

Finished size will be approx. 9” (23 cm) long, 4.3” (11 cm) tall, 4.7” (12 cm) wide, crocheted using acrylic yarn (8 ply / DK), with hook size E (3.5 mm).

If you wish to make a taller or smaller version of this beetle, you can just use thicker or thinner yarn / crochet hook. This pattern is also suitable for wool or cotton yarn. The pattern is mostly worked in continuous rounds. Some parts are worked in rows.

Gauge: is not important for this pattern, just crochet tight enough so your stuffing will not show through the stitches.
Skill level: intermediate (for crocheting, as well as for pinning/sewing parts together)

Gut erklärt, auch für Anfänger!

Amigurumi-Häkeln ist eigentlich nicht mein Ding, aber ich wollte meinem Vater unbedingt seinen alten VW-Käfer nachhäkeln ... und mit dieser Anleitung hat das super geklappt!

Sehr, sehr gute Anleitung!

Es hat riesigen Spaß gemacht, diesen schönen VW Käfer zu häkeln. Das zusammennähen der einzelnen Teile war etwas knifflig, aber wenn man vorher alles mit Stecknadeln so feststeckt wie man es haben möchte, bekommt man ein ganz tolles Ergebnis!! 😉

  Hallo Wilma, normaal gesproken kun je het patroon na de aankoop zelf downloaden via je Crazy Patterns account, maar dan zou er bij jouw naam hierboven een groen vakje moeten staan met de tekst 'gekocht'. Dit staat er nu niet, dit betekent dat er misschien een vertraging is, of er is iets mis gegaan met de aankoop. Het spijt me, maar ik heb daar geen inzicht in.

Ich can this nicht in meinem printer aus printed, ich lebe in der USA und möchte es gerne auf Papier sehen dannkann ich die Anleitung besser lesen. Hoffe das sie mir helfen könnten habe es schon bezahlt by PayPal

  I could do it for you, but I would need to charge you for the postal costs (about 10 Euro), and it will take a minimum of 3 weeks to arrive. (might even take more time, since postal services are swamped due to corona issues.....)
  Maybe you can place the pdf to a memory card, and have it printed at your local library, city hall, or supermarket/service counter ? Or maybe just a nearby friend or family member ?

da mein erstes Auto ein Käfer war, habe ich meinen "Mäxle! auferstehen lassen, es macht zwar Spass und Freude die Anleitung zu häkeln, jedoch ist diese Anleitung für den absoluten Anfänger nicht geeignet, sie wirkt etwas unübersichtlich und leider fehler die bekannten Auspuffrohre. Ansonsten einfach mal etwas anderes ;-)
