Knitting pattern for basic Christmas ball ornament 5 Christmas balls

No doubt, at the Christmas Eve everyone wants to do something nice and cozy him or herself! I would like to propose you knitted Christmas balls with Norwegian pattern. Such balls made with 5 knitting needle will decorate any Xmas tree and make your home special! These Xmass balls can become wonderful Xmas presents to your relatives and friends. These balls can be stuffed with styrofoam or polyester batting. If little kids play with theses balls, the balls will be dirty very soon, that’s why I recommend to stuff the decor elements with polyester batting, so it will be easier to wash them.

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

The pattern is written in English (US-terms). Basic knowledge and mastery of
St, sts - stitch, stitches
K - knit
SSK - Slip Slip Knit, Slip one st knit wise, slip another st knit wise then insert left needle into front loops of slipped sts and K together from this position through back of loops
K2tog - knit 2 stitches together

• Suggested Yarn : Alize alpaca royal (273yds/100g/3,53 Oz/250mt), 30% alpaca, 15%wool, 55% acrylic
• 1 set 2.5 mm (UK 13-12/US 1-2) double-pointed needles
• 3 mm (US D–3) crochet hoot
• styrofoam balls with the circumference of 7.5cm cm or polyester batting
