The EASYPEASY Slipover Mini is a great companion for both winter and summer – perfect for transitional weather or chilly early mornings on the way to preschool. It is knitted flat, so only knit stitches are used.
The EASYPEASY Slipover Mini is started at the front piece and worked in one piece across the straps to the back. Afterwards, the side seams are sewn together.
The armholes are shaped first through decreases followed by the neckline. First, the right strap is worked then the left. Both straps are then connected using backward loop cast-on stitches eliminating the need for a shoulder seam. Finally, the sides are sewn together – and the slipover is done!
This project is great for beginners (but probably not your very first knitting project ;)). For all techniques used you’ll find links to helpful YouTube tutorials.
