Would you like to crochet a jacket for your child that looks like knitted? Then this crochet tutorial is just for you. A simple children's jacket with an overlap at the front that is very quick and easy to make. This jacket is even suitable for beginners with previous knowledge! The cardigan are crocheted as one piece and therefore have only two seams.

This PDF crochet pattern consists of illustrated pattern for crocheting a baby or children's jacket for sizes 0 m. to 2-year-old child, in knitted look. The jacket can be crocheted for summer as well as for winter (depending on the wool).

Attention. The jacket is crocheted with the sl st. Crocheting with the sl st, inserted either in the back loops only or in the front loops only of the previous row, requires a little practice. Before you start crocheting, practice crocheting with an old thick wool (wool scraps). After a few practices, crochet with sl st will work out very quickly. Otherwise, crochet very loosely, take the crochet hook 0.5 to 1 size larger than recommended for your wool.

Advantages of a jacket with overlap: 1. easy to put on; 2. has only two seams; 3. quick and easy to crochet; 4. cuddly soft and pleasant for the skin.

• For jacket with the loop, for size 50-56: 100g and 50g more for each additional size
• For jacket with the button closure, for size 50-56 and 62-68: 150g and 50g more for each additional size
• Crochet hook No. 4,5 (EU-size) (no. 5 (EU-size), if you can't work with loose crochet) or no. 7 (US-size) (no. 6 (US-size), if you can't work with loose crochet)
• Buttons, 2 pcs. or loop.
