Knitting pattern shawl "Mondo"

A Crescent shaped shawl with some garter stitch, beautiful lace parts and some modern fringes.
“Mondo” is a very elegant and at the same time sporty shawl. It goes well with an elegant evening dress as well as with jeans and a T-shirt. The circular shape of the scarf means it can be worn in many different ways. Ideal for all seasons.
The lace pattern is only knitted on the front. Only knit and purl stitches are worked on the back. These instructions are therefore also suitable for slightly more advanced beginners.

Needles:
US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needle.

Other:
Tapestry needle, row counter (optional), crochet hook, a pair of scissors.

Additional Details by the Author

Gauge: 17 stitches and 42 rows in 4 inches (10 cm) in garter stitch with US 4 (3.5 mm) needles, after blocking. Gauge is not crucial for this project, but changes might result in a smaller/larger shawl and different yardage requirement.
