The zipper is crocheted in with an ingenious trick - no annoying fitting and sewing! The bag strap does not stretch thanks to the cord crochet technique. Design your AMIGA bag individually with tassels or flower patches. There is a bonus flower pattern included!

On 9 pages with detailed step-by-step instructions (US+UK terms) and illustrated with lots of pictures for each work step, I explain to you how to crochet your AMIGA bag and how to design it individually. The materials (cotton scrap yarn and a zipper) are maybe in your stash, so you can get started right away. You should master the following crochet stitches: chain stitches, single crochets, half double crochets, double crochets, trebles and slip stitches. Pattern for a flower aplliqué included.

The finished bag is 6.7x6.7in / 17x17cm, but the pattern can be adapted to any zipper size.

What you need for a 6.7x6.7in / 17x17cm AMIGA-Bag:

6.7in/17cm zipper, crochet hooks size D-3/3.0mm and B-1/2.0mm, a sharp point sewing needle, stitch markers and scissors.

2 balls of basic mercerized cotton yarn, light worsted (Lana Grossa Cotone, approx 125m (137yd) / 50g (1.75oz) in 2 different colours: Colour A for the circle and tassels and colour B for all other parts

Optional:
Yarn from your stash in gold or silver or any other contrasting colour.
Cotton yarn from your stash for flowers, hearts or other patches to add to the circle.
