You make the coat in one of two possible lengths from a whale loden, because it does not fray (important for this project!).

Size Information

The sizes XS-XXXL are included as a pattern. The exact measurements of the sizes you can see in the size chart in the pictures.

Materials List

Materials:

• medium to heavy outer fabric without elastane, e.g. whale loden with a fabric width of at least 147cm:
  XS-XXXL, short version: 165cm
  XS-XXXL, long version: 225cm
• 5 snaps for the short version, 7 snaps for the long version
• embroidery thread: 80m for the short version, 88m for the long version
• embroidery needle
  Tip: We use a 100% virgin wool whalecloth weighing 385g/sqm for the Nelly Coat.

Utensils:

• pins
• a pair of paper scissors
• fabric scissors
• a ruler or tape measure
