Crochet pattern “Little deer” from Wunderlich`s Kreativchaos
A little deer is simply part of the Christmas season. Now comes this sweet little creature to match the little star. It is great for using up leftovers and you can decorate or embellish it as you wish. The little deer is also ideal as a small souvenir.

This pattern explains step by step how to crochet the deer. The instructions consist of 19 pages and contain many pictures.

Used crochet technique
I crocheted each piece using the Yarn Under technique. This results in a more beautiful stitch pattern and the crocheted work becomes much more stable. But you can also crochet as usual.
I mainly work with 100% cotton and needle thickness 2.0. You can also use any other yarn, and also a different needle thickness. The size of the figure may change as a result. If you crochet with cotton 125m/50gr, the deer will be approximately 15cm high.
I always indicate the material very generously, because everyone crochets differently. I used 100% cotton 125m/ 50gr.
1 x 50 gr Brown
1 x 50 gr Skin tone /Soft apricot
A small amount white (ca. 20gr.)
A small amount grey (ca. 20 gr.)
A small amount black (ca. 20 gr.)
A small amount pink or salmon (ca. 25 gr.)
2 half beads 10 or 12mm
1 little bell
2 x Grey pipecleaners
Thin satin ribbon (fabric)
Blush
Glue
Stuffing / sewing supplies
You can also make your deer in Chenille yarn/ Himalaya Velvet
For this you will need the following materials:
2 x Grey
1 x Skin tone
1 X White
Leftover brown (approx. 30gr.)
Leftover gray (approx. 30 gr.)
Leftover pink (approx. 30 gr.)
Safety eyes of 25mm (These must be placed before you sew on the eyes!)
Stuffing
2 x Pipecleaners
Sewing supplies
