Here’s a chance to crochet your very own groovy camper van hippie bus tissue box cover !

The cover fits over 2 standard rectangular tissue boxes, stacked on top of each other. This way you’ll always have 1 spare tissue box on hand !

This PDF pattern will guide you to crochet a tissue box cover as shown in pictures, made using soft acrylic yarn (DK / 8 ply) and crochet hook E (3.5 mm). The bus in the pictures was made using Stylecraft Special DK.

The cover can also be made using wool or cotton yarn, as long as you can meet gauge for this pattern. The bus in picture is made using Stylecraft Special DK (similar to SMC Bravo). For US crocheters sport weight yarn will give the best result.

Finished size will be, including bumpers, approx. l x w x h : 9.8” x 5.1” x 5.1” (25 x 13 x 13 cm).

obwohl ich ein Häkelmuffel bin, kam ich gut mit der Anleitung zurecht.

Wunderschön

Zunächst habe ich aus der Anleitung einen Bus gehäkelt, der vom Design dem meiner Freundin gleicht (weiß mit angedeuteten Bergen und Fahrrad auf der Seite etc.) Danach habe ich die Original-Anleitung noch gehäkelt. Nicht ganz leicht aber machbar. Meine Freundin hat sich sehr über ihr Einzelstück gefreut 😆

Ich habe das von Dir empfohlene Garn und meine Ta-Tü Box ist 23x11,5x6,5 bzw eine andere 21x11,5x7 aber leider passt der Deckel gar nicht. Ich habe schon mit einer 4,5er Nadel gearbeitet. Kann ich einfach noch weitere Runden häkeln oder geht das dann am Ende nicht mehr aus?

  Ist die Dachfläche zu groß oder zu klein? Bis welcher Runde hast du jetzt gearbeitet?
  Hast du die Spannung überprüft und/oder ein Maschenprobe gehäkelt?
  Vielleicht häkelst du einfach zu eng oder zu locker.
  Wenn du möchtest, kannst du mir ein paar Bilder im Email senden, damit ich vielleicht sehen kann, wo das Problem liegt. (Meine Email-Adresse steht ganz unten auf der letzten Seite der Anleitung.)

Mit neuem (dünner) Garn: Nun kommts gut. Jupeee. Danke.
Ich musste feststellen, dass beinahe alle Taschentücher-Boxen andere Formate haben. Insbesondere die Höhe variert sehr stark. zB die Original Kleenex Box ist bei uns nur 4.5cm hoch. Ich habe mich nun einfachfür ein Modell entschieden. Danke vielmals.

Schaue, dass ich anderes Garn kriege (ist im Moment ja nicht so einfach, und das Lang Tissa kaufte ich speziell für diese Anleitung).
Danke für die Tipps. Mache mich nun an die Arbeit :)

  Schade. Wenn es geht um Amigurumi/Kuscheltiere dann ist die Garndicke nicht so wichtig, aber mit genau passender Entwurfe doch schon. Vielleicht kannst du ähnliches Garn online kaufen, bei Wollplatz oder so vielleicht.

Danke für die rasche Antwort. Ich hab heute noch eine andere Box gekauft, die ist wirklich auch 23cm lang. Die andere Box ist von der Migros (CH-Grosskette). Aber mein Deckel ist halt immer noch zu lang. Grrrrr.
Garn: Lang TISSA, 50g/80m mit Häkel-Nr. 3.5
Ich stricke eher satt, dh fest.
Ich hoffe auch, dass der Bus mal fertig wird und passabel aussieht. :)

  Es freut mich das du einen anderen Box gefunden hast. :-) Das wird bestimmt besser passen. Nun, das Garn, ich glaube deine Marke (Lang Tissa) wird dicker sein als Stylecraft Special DK, den ich verwendet habe für meinen Bus.
  100 gram Stylecraft special DK ist 294 Meter, 100 gram Lang Tissa ist 160 Meter.
  Du kannst am Besten einen ähnlichen Garn suchen für dein Bus, vielleicht zum Beispiel SMC Bravo, wenn du keinen Stylecraft finden kannst.
  Es ist immer wichtig änhliches Garn zu verwenden als das Muster im Anleitung.
  Ich bin sicher das du es schaffen wirst, mit den neuen Box und passendes Garn ! :-)

Hilfe! Die Proportionen stimmen nicht. Die Breite passt, aber der "Deckel" ist 5cm zu lang.
Die Box weist ein Mass von 11.5/21 cm auf. Der Deckel aber 11.5/26 cm!!
Die Maschen habe ich in jeder Runde gezählt.
Soll ich zusätzliche Maschen in der Breite einfügen? oder beim Anschlag weniger Maschen anschlagen? Spätfolgen?
Eigentlich weiss ich nicht, wie es dazu gekommen ist. Denn die Breite stimmt perfekt.
Aber wie ich es verstanden habe, muss der Deckel schon passgenau sein, sodass der "Body" den Boxen sich anpasst.
Ist das Problem auch schon aufgetaucht?
Freue mich auf eine Antwort. Denn ich möchte diesen Vintage Bus für meinen Sohn, ein mega grosser Autofan, anfertigen. :)

  Schade daß es dieser Problem gibt. :-( Von so einen großen Maßenunterschied habe ich noch nicht gehört. Ich glaube deinen Taschentücherbox ist sowieso kürzer as meinen orginalen Kleenex Box. (deiner ist 21 cm, meiner Kleenex ist 23 cm) Aber dan ist immer noch dein Deckel zu lang. Mit welchen Garn und welche größe Häkelnadel arbeitest du ? Kann sein das du vielleicht ein bißchen zu lose häkelst ? Versuche bitte mit einen kleineren Nummer Häkelnadel zu arbeiten. Ich hoffe du schaffst es, diesen Bus zu fertigen ! Liebe Grüße, Marjan.
