INSTRUCTIONS
The top is knitted in the round using circular needles.
1x1 RIB is formed by alternating 1 knit stitches and 1 purl stitches. Care must be taken to purl the stitches which were knitted on the previous row and vice versa.
STOCKING STITCH
Working in the round knit all stitches every round.
WAVE PATTERN
R 1: knit all sts
R 2: k the k sts, exactly as stitches appear on needle
R 3: *k2tog 3 times, (yo, 1 ks) 6 times, k2tog 3 times*, repeat from*.
R 4: knit all sts
Cast on 216 sts and join for knitting in the round. Knit 40 cm in wave pattern.
For the armholes cats off 6 sts at the beginning and end of the round. Continue knitting back and front separately.
Back:
Work 18 rounds in stocking stitch, desceasing 1 st each side every 2nd row 6 times.
To shape the neckline cast off the center 12 sts. Finish both sides separately.
Continue knitting, decrease 5 sts every 2nd row twice.
Knit all sts 2 rounds. Cast off.
Front:
Work 20 rounds in stocking stitch, desceasing 1 st each side every 2nd row 6 times.
To shape the neckline cast off the center 12 sts. Finish both sides separately.
Continue knitting, decrease 1 sts each side every 2nd row 10 times.
Knit all sts 2 rounds. Cast off.
Sleeves (2x):
Cast on 56 sts. Work 10 rounds in 1x1 rib for the cuff.
Increase 12 sts in the next row.
Knit 11 rows in stocking stitch, increasing 1sts each side every 7th row.
Cats off 3 sts at the beginning and end of the row.
Then decrease every 2nd row 3 sts twice, then 5 sts once, 4 sts once, 3 sts once, 2 sts twice.
Cast off.
Assembly:
Sew shoulder seams together.
Sew sleeves to armholes.
Work one round in sc´s around the neckline.
