The Advent calendar for knitting

Download, print (you need a black and white printer that prints on both sides) and give away! Your children can paint the pre-printed star pattern and with the matching wool you have a wonderful personal gift for grandma or your best friend.
There is a page of instructions for every day for pure knitting pleasure and by Christmas the pretty scarf is ready. It looks best with heavily mottled wool. The scarf is worked in one piece. To ensure that the knitter has enough wool in case she doesn't stick to the stitch gauge, I recommend giving away 1400m (approx. 200-250g).
The instructions for the Advent calendar are written out stitch by stitch, easy to understand and can also be done by slightly advanced knitters.

You knit from day 1 to day 24.
In some countries Christmas is not celebrated until 25.12.
Therefore day 25 is included as star paper without instructions. You can use it to wrap personal greetings or a small sweet.

In the download you will also find the "normal" instructions, where the border at the top and bottom is knitted at the end. This is recommended if the wool is exactly measured. If you keep to the stitch gauge (28R and 38R plain right) 1200m = 200g

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

The working method is not difficult, but you should be slightly advanced. knit, purl, decreases and yarn over must be familiar to you.

The instructions consist of charts AND are written out stitch by stitch. So you can decide for yourself what you prefer to work with.

1200m (=200g) of wool in any composition. I used hand-dyed Filisilk (70% wool / 30% silk) from Stefis Wolle and needles 3mm.

Sehr gut
Eine einfache und sehr schöne Anleitung. Auch für Anfänger ist die geeignet. Der Schl ist nur trotz der gleichen Wolle und Nadeln "etwas" länger und breiter geworden als in der Anleitung angegeben. Ich hab nur noch etwas Glitzer in die Ränder oben und unten eingearbeitet

sehr gute Anleitung
stricke den Schal gerade zweifädig mit einem Alpaca Lace Garn und einem dünnen Mohairgarn mit Glitzer (Schneeflocken oghne Glitzer geht nicht). Derr Schal wird herrlich weich und leicht- wenn fertig stelle ich ein Bild ein. Anleitung ist super geschrieben , mit EDV Strickschrift, einfaches Muster, lässst sich prima nacharbeiten. Ist aber kein Fernsehmuster, da man doch ständig zählen muss und dazu brauche ich meine Ruhe.

Die Anleitung war echt klasse. Da ich eine dickere Wolle hatte wurde es ein richtig schöner XXL Schal.

    Hallo, ich habe die Anleitung bereits gekauft und bin wegen der Garnangabe verunsichert. In der Anleitung selbst ist angegeben: 1.200m Filisilk, im Shop steht jedoch 840m Lovely. Wonach richte ich mich jetzt? Danke und viele Grüße

    ich habe eine Frage zu der Anleitung: Auf welche Nadelstärke bezieht sich diese Anleitung (wenn man die angegebene Wolle benutzt)?
    Diese Angabe ist meines Erachtens bei einer Strickanleitung sehr wichtig.

      ich stricke recht fest und habe mit 3mm Nadeln gestrickt. Je nachdem, wie locker oder fest Du arbeitest kann die Stärke variieren. Deshalb sollte man leider immer die - ungeliebte - Maschenprobe machen ;-).

    Das mit dem Preis ist so eine Sache. Es gibt keine Richtlinien, die Designer entscheiden selbst. So habe ich entschieden, dass meine Arbeit an diesem Schal € 6,-- wert ist. Ich bitte Dich um Verständnis dafür, denn auch ich akzeptiere Deine Meinung. Wenn die Verkäufe mehr werden, werde ich den Preis senken.
