If you use cotton yarn with a yardage of about 280y/3.5oz (125m/50g) and a hook size 2.5, the letters will become approx. 6.5 to 7 cm high, the width is varying.

This tutorial does not include crochet basics but requires some experience, however it is suitable for beginners. The following techniques are used: chain stitch, double crochet, crochet in rows (crochet terms in British English!)
