Nurse Tea Cosy Knitting Pattern

I thought it would add a bit of humour to the tea cosy so the cosy depicts a nurse during her busy working day, with a rather smelly bedpan to dispose of.

The design is based on vintage nursing uniforms, when the nurses wore little paper hats, fob watches and those big buckled belts.

The nurse has a spiky hairstyle, that is achieved by casting on and off stitches a bit like making big buttonholes.

Nurses are amazing, and if anyone deserves a hot cup of tea, its got to be the medical nurses who really have a tough job caring for patients, so raise your hot beverage to the nurses!

The Nurse tea cosy fits a medium sized teapot that covers a teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

This is a 6 page knitting pattern that is all easy and straight forward, its only th ehair that is a bit tricky because it requires you to cast on stitches with the two needle method and then cast them off again on the next row.

If you do need help, there is a Facebook group called 'TeaCosyFolk Knitting pattern Help' that you can join and the frendly people there will assist you.
