Bianca - Lace shawl for beginners

The pattern for the shawl Bianca is inspired by my friend, who had the idea to add the border. It‘s crescent shaped with a wonderful length, so you can wear it as a scarf too.

The concept of the shawl is to use the whole yarn without a rest. It's very beautiful in Lace weight yarn, a cozy alternative would be a lovely Merino skein or gradient.

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

basic stitches (knit, purl, yo, k2tog etc)

Size Information

50 x 240cm (20 x 94“)
(the finished size depends on how hard you block the scarf)

Also your yarn choice and your knitting tension can influence the size.

Materials List

1 skein lace yarn (e.g. Wollelfe Merino Pure Lace, 700m/100g, color: Plum)

3.5mm (US4) needle or any size you feel well with your yarn
