Triangular shawl Magnifica - no purl - beginner

Magnifica is a sideways knitted triangular shawl. There are increases every second row, no decreases.

This pattern contains three stitch patterns which are worked in given order.

There are absolutely no purl stitches. Use two different yarns to create your personal favourite piece. Perfect for many occasions or simply to get a cozy hug.

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

This pattern is perfect for beginners. It's written row by row. You work several patterns alternating with two colors. You need a gradient in fingering weight with 600m (656yds) and a light variegated yarn in the same weight but only with 400m (436yds).

There are no purl stitches, but you should be able to work these:
knit
kfb (increase 1 stitch)
yarn over
k2tog
bind off loose

Size Information

Every shawl should be blocked after finishing, to show the pattern better.
I personally block very hard, that's why my Magnifica has 230cm (90 inch) width and 120cm (47 inch) down.
The finished size depends on your knitting tension and also with your yarn and blocking tension.
