You can start with a provisional cast on, but that is optional.
Required techniques:
Sizes (Head Circumference): 20.5’’ , 21/22’’, 23/23.75’’ (52cm, 54/56cm, 54/56cm)
Width of the finished headband: 2.75” / 7 cm for all sizes
Yarn: Sample worked in: Wollmeise DK [100% Merino, 234yards/214m per 100g]
Alternatively, any yarn with similar properties, yardage and gauge can be used as a substitute.
Yardage: ca. 117 yards / 107m of yarn
Gauge
22 stitches and 34 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette stitch
Additional materials:
US size 4 / 3.5 mm circular needle, or size required to achieve gauge.
