Max the Industrious Mole, knitting pattern

Digging is his passion: Max the Mole was very content with his life, but then something happened. The gardeners came to his park! Max was positively stunned. With their big construction machines they built the highest and most beautiful mounds he had ever seen – in no time at all. Now he is dreaming of his own excavator, preferably in yellow. So if you are still pondering over a birthday gift for your mole, here is the idea!

Choose any yarn you like or have left over – Max will be bigger or smaller depending on the yarn. If you knit Max for a child, make sure the yarn is robust, washable and doesn’t pill too much.

The pattern will lead you step-by-step through the knitting and sewing, including loads of detail photos. Additionally, you’ll find instructions for the more elaborate techniques used. PLEASE MIND: The animal is knitted in the ROUND, there is no instruction for flat knitting!
