Double Knitting Pattern Potholders "Mr & Mrs Right"

These potholders are a lovely and funny present for a couple – for the wedding, when moving together or simply as a guest gift when you are invited for dinner. The motto certainly causes a broad smile 😊

These potholders are knitted in the Double Knitting Technique. There are two different versions included:

• classic double knitting – the font will appear mirrored on one side
• advanced double knitting – the font will appear corrrectly on both sides

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

• double knitting in general
• basic skills in crocheting (chain stitch, sling stitch, single crochet, double crochet)

You will get five separate pdf documents:

• general instructions on how to knit the potholders
• two knitting charts for classic double knitting (font appears mirrored on one side)
• two knitting charts for advanced double knitting (font appears correctly on both sides)

Size Information

With a gauge 24 sts x 35 rows = 10 x 10 cm, size of the finished potholder is approx. 23 cm x 23,5 cm

Materials List

• DROPS Loves You 9, 100 % cotton, 125 m / 50 gr, for one potholder you need approx. 30 gr each of two different colours + 15 gr for the border
• 2,5 mm (US 1 or 2) knitting needle
• Crochet hook N. 3
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
