Knitting pattern baby / kids blanket "Mom's Love"

This motif with the two cuddling bears goes straight to the heart. When the little bear snuggles closely to his Mum, he feels secure, and nothing on the world can harm him. Every little child should have this feeling of being protected and loved. With this extra soft baby blanket you can symbolically give away these good wishes.

The motif is created only by knit and purl stitches. The border consists of an easy-to-do but very decorative cable pattern (no cable needle required). The pattern explains very detailed and stitch by stitch how you can knit this lovely blanket, so even beginners with good knitting skills will succeed. Size Information

Gauge measured over stockinette stitch: 21 stitches x 33 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4“ x 4“)

With this gauge, size of the finished blanket will be approx. 67 x 97 cm (after blocking or ironing).

Materials List

• Wollbutt Venia (running length 318 m / 100 gr) about 3 skeins à 100 gr in mint; my blanket has a weight of about 260 gr
• alternatively you can use any yarn which is suitable for babies; size of the finished blanket may be different then
• 4 mm (US 6) circular needles, minimum 80 cm
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
