After a short break in Paris and Venetia, the lovely couple is ready for the next weekend trip – this time they spend exciting days in London! A sightseeing tour on the double-decker bus is mandatory, of course!
The motif is an absolute eye catcher on the laid table. And it is so much fun to see the picture develop while knitting.

This unique placemat is knitted in the Double Knitting Technique. Thus, it has two good looking sides and you can use it both ways.

Feel free to use the motif for any project you like - maybe for a pillow case? I'm looking forward to hearing from your ideas!

Size Information

With a gauge 25 sts x 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4“ x 4“), size of the finished placemat is approx. 44 cm x 30 cm

Please note: If you have a different gauge, the size of the finished product will be different, too.

Materials List

Schachenmayr Baby Smiles Cotton Bamboo (156 m / 50 gr) Pistazie (light green) and Nostalgie (red), approx. 60-70 gr per colour (for one placemat)

Alternatively you can use yarn with similar yarn weight. Please try to meet the gauge as exactly as possible. Choose two colours with high contrast

2.5 mm (US 1 ½ ) circular needle (at least 60 cm long)
2.0 mm (US 0) circular needle (at least 60 cm long)
darning needle
scissors

Die Anleitung ist einfach toll. Ich hatte mich bisher nicht an Doubleface stricken heran getraut. Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich mit diesem Set angefangen. Dank der zusätzlichen Anleitung für Doubleface bin ich sehr gut klar gekommen. Ich bin begeistert. Die Anleitung für das Set ist sehr gut beschrieben und lässt keine Fragen offen. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen. Auch wenn man noch nie Doubleface gestrickt hat, bekommt man schnell heraus wie es funktioniert. Danke für diese tolle Idee. Ich werde sicher noch mehr Anleitungen für Doubleface-Stricken kaufen. Es macht richtig Spaß mit dieser Anleitung zu arbeiten und es besteht "Suchtgefahr".
