Knitting Pattern Sayon - Loop/Cowl/Neckwarmer

What knitting stitches to apply to that glorious yarn sitting in your stash? What can you make with just one skein?
This cowl pattern answers these questions. The textured stitch pattern adds warmth without extra bulk and breaks up color pooling you often find in hand dyed yarns.
Sayon gives 3 options to play with different edgings and allows you to use up the full skein.

You need to know the knitting basics.
If you choose the I-cord edging option, it will be explained in the pattern.

Size Information

• Approx. 24” circumference
• Height variable depending on yds used:
Cowl shown on right side of the picture: 10” (390 yds used)
Cowl shown on left side of the picture: 12” (410 yds used)

Materials List

• Fingering weight yarn, approx. 400 yds or more. (yarn used in picture HT-Sox from Lismi Knits)
• Circular needle US 4 (3.5mm) 16” or 24”
• For I-cord edging: circ. needle US 3 (3.25mm) 16” or 24”
• Needle to weave in ends
• 1 stitch marker
• Scale to weigh your skein.
