Santa Claus is coming soon and fills the shoes of the children or the parents (if they were good :).
These cute shoes are upcycling projects that reduce waste and protect the environment :). Old or used paper cups quickly become a great gift wrap or even the shoe for Santa Claus. Depending on the size of the cup used, a lot of sweets fit in or a small Christmas star as a gift.
The instructions are available in German, English and Dutch in PDF format.

This guide explains step by step how to crochet the shoe. The pattern for the elf shoe consists of 14 pages and is provided with many pictures.
The pattern for the Santa boot consists of 17 pages and is also provided with many colored detailed pictures. The pattern also explain how to adapt the shoe to different cup sizes.

However, the guide does not include a basic course. Therefore you should master the following basic knowledge:
Abbreviations
MR - Magic Ring
sc - single crochet
ch - chain
sl st - slip stitch
inc - increase
dec - decrease
tc - turning chain
FLO - Front Loop Only
BLO - Back Loop Only
(..) x? - the section in brackets needs to be repeated ? times
CC - color change
I mainly work with 100% cotton and a needle size of 2.0. You can also use any other wool and also a different needle size. This may change the specified size of the figure. If you work with Carina (comparable to Schachenmayr Catania) and a needle size of 2.0, the boot will be ca.20cm high an the elf shoe will be 12 cm high and 19 cm long.
I always give the material for cotton yarn with 125m/ 50gr and generously. Everyone crochets differently, so the quantity given may vary.

• 2 x 50 gr. red
• 1 x 50 gr. white
• 1 x 50 gr. black
• Cord approx. 50 cm or fabric ribbon
• Fiberfill
• Scissors/hot glue/sewing supplies
• Patience and attention to detail 😊
