The bookmarks are crocheted in one piece, so all you need to do is sew the beginning and end threads.

If you vary the length of the band accordingly, you can also make wonderful

• gift ribbons,
• Napkin rings
• or table garlands, e.g. for weddings, baptisms, communions.

Also a beautiful and quickly conjured gift, perfect as an accompaniment to a book.

The bookmark is more recommended for experienced crocheters, the stitches are not complicated, but it is a bit fiddly with the thin yarn.

Materials List

• Crochet thread weight 10 in desired color (e.g. Diana 10 from Wollbutt; Aida 10 by Anchor);
  approx. 4 grams per bookmark
• Crochet hook 1.5 mm
• Sewing needle (for sewing the ends of the yarn), scissors
• Piece of cardboard approx. 7 cm x 7 cm
